SuperStar Diamond Weekend For Top Beachbody Coaches

How does Beachbody recognize the highest performing leaders for their accomplishments?  Well, they call it Superstar Diamond weekend!!  If you follow me on my social media sites Instagram, Facebook or Snapchat you can see that I have been away for the past weekend in Rancho Palos Verdes, California at the Terranea Resort.  I was invited to attend what is called SuperStar Weekend for Team Beachbody 15 Star Diamond Coaches.

What is a Superstar Diamond Coach?  A Superstar Diamond Coach is someone who has personally sponsored 15 or more Diamond Coaches.  Diamond is a rank in the company that symbolizes that you have entered the leadership phase of your business.  It means that you have mastered running successful challenge groups and you are turning customers into coaches.  It also begins the next step of really strategizing your teams growth to match your income goals.  I look at Diamond as the gateway to leadership!  A Superstar diamond coach is a rank that is achieved by very few in the company and it is a great honor and privilege to be one of the very few in the company.  I am also only the 3rd coach to achieve Super Star Diamond III rank.  5 years into this business as a coach and I have achieved more than my wildest dreams.  Being a Super Star Diamond Coach in my eyes means that you are able to duplicate your own success.  You are able to teach your coaches what has worked for you and then they are able to go out there and replicate that in their own personality style.  You are able to effectively lead a team in a common direction and you are creating a positive team culture and environment for growth.  The rank of Super Star Diamond does not happen alone.  There is no “I” in team.  This was absolutely a team effort and a lot of hard work, commitment and dedication was put into making this a success.

What Is A Superstar Diamond Weekend: So one thing that I love about Beachbody is their ability to recognize you for your hard work and efforts.  The recognition and events team put together a wonderful weekend for each Superstar Diamond Coach and their significant other.  We flew first class to Racho Palos Verdes, California and stayed at the Terranea Resort which is absolutely breathtaking.  The resort overlooks the Pacific Ocean and quite frequently we would see the dolphins jumping in the water in front of us.  There were multiple pools, an incredible spa overlooking the ocean, restaurants, hiking trails and plenty of things to do.

We were greeted at the airport on Thursday by a limo which I will say is a little bit embarrassing but also a lot of fun!!  We totally felt like VIP’s.  The limo drove us to the resort where we got our room keys and hit up the gym for a quick workout and the pool for some relaxation!  We chose the adult pool since we didn’t have our kids with us, so we took advantage of the quietness.

We spent the day relaxing since the official event really didn’t start until Friday night.  It was great to just get some quality time together as a couple.  Honestly, Matt and I spend so much time at Beachbody events chatting with our team, hosting retreats, networking and developing relationships which we LOVE to do but it was nice to just be the two of us.  We literally had our own conversations, we relaxed together and just enjoyed the company.  It was just what we needed to recharge.

Friday night the weekend kicked off with a welcome reception at the Cove Terrace where the Executives of Beachbody, Jeff Hill, Michael Neimand, CEO Carl Daikeler and Co-Founder Jon Congdon were in attendance.  There were 16 Superstar couples at this event.  Carl Daikeler did a live video stream with each coach that was at the event and you can actually see it on my personal Facebook page if you want to check out his message to the team and my customers.  We had dinner, cocktails and lots of great conversation to kick off the weekend.

Every night when we came back to our hotel room there was another little gift waiting for us.  Tonight was a gift basket of goodies and a really awesome Athleta shirt that had Team Beachbody down the arm and also a little Super Star Diamond Logo on the side.
Saturday morning we woke up for a special workout with Autumn Calabrese.  She is the creator of the 21 Day Fix, 21 Day Fix Extreme, Country Heat and Hammer and Chisel.  She created a new workout called the Cardio Core Fix that will be released in the near future and were her ginny pigs for this one!  BOY oh BOY did that burn and no joke it’s Tuesday and I’m still sore.  So trust me, it’s a good workout!!!

Next up was a private session with Carl Daikeler’s mentor Dr. Billy Browning.  He did a training on branding yourself and defining what you stand for you in your business.  He sent some really clear messages about whether or not you want to be the face of the brand or do you want to also be the heart of the brand.  It just really hit home with me and I feel so strongly about staying in the trenches and practicing what I preach as a leader.

I spend so much time training and teaching my team that it is nice to get that leadership training back and have some time to just develop myself as a leader.  It was so nice not to have to speak or present at this event but just be a participant.  As a leader I am constantly thinking about my brand, my future and where I want to go with my Beachbody business.  I can say that even after 5 years I still love my job as much as I did on day 1.  It is absolutely a challenge, there are days that it is frustrating but it is so fulfilling to see my customers get results and my coaches have success.  I also love that I have the freedom to decide how much or how little that I want to work and on what terms I want to do it!!

Saturday afternoon the Superstars split up and headed to the spa for some pampering.  A 60 minute massage was the perfect way to unwind after running full speed all year long.

Saturday night we were pampered even more with hair and makeup, an individual photo shoot so we could have some new head shots and an amazing farewell dinner.  I just can’t say enough about what an amazing company Team Beachbody is!  They have not only changed my life physically and emotionally but they have become our main source of income and we are so blessed by the opportunities and new friendships that we have made because of this business.  I truly love my job as a coach and I get no greater joy than creating systems, trainings, support groups that can help transform someone’s life.  Even as a Superstar Diamond Coach and the 2x Top Coach I still feel like there are so many people out there that don’t have a support system to plug in to.  There are so many people who don’t know about nutrition or don’t take care of their bodies.  I am committed to creating groups to meet the continual needs of my customers.

I also meet so many people who don’t love their careers.  Coaching might not be for you  but I encourage you to follow your heart whether that is starting your own business, changing jobs or trying something new.  If you have a passion for health and fitness and could see yourself running accountability groups, working from wherever you have wifi and building a team of people who are all passionate and committed to helping one another out then I encourage you to reach out to me so we can chat more about what I do as a coach and if it could be right for you!

Sunday morning before we headed back to Pittsburgh we did a live workout with Danielle Natoni on the lawn of the resort!  She kicked our butts and then we ate breakfast!  LOL  It’s awesome that we all practice what we preach and we workout together, we walk the walk and talk the talk!  Plus we had 2 pregnant momma’s sweating right along side of us!  No matter what, you CAN do it too!!!
