Seriously this Whole30 Sloppy Joe recipe is a weekly must have on our meal plan. My kids devour it and Matt and I fight over who is going to eat the leftovers the next day. It is actually even better than the old unhealthy version of sloppy joe’s that we ate as kids. I know you are going to love it. If you are doing the Whole30 and looking for some dinner recipes this is a MUST! At first I thought it was a little strange but trust me it is delicious. We paired it with steamed green beans for a complete meal.

This Butternut Squash Soup is literally a recipe that I could eat every single day! I can truthfully say that I was never a squash soup kind of girl but this is incredible and the best part is that it has NO heavy cream which typically upsets my stomach. So I’m guilt free and gas free too! If you are looking for a really great fall/winter comfort food that tastes rich and most people wouldn’t even know it was super healthy then this is for you. It is also husband approved and pretty much everyone who has tried it agrees that it is one of the best soups they have ever had.
It’s time for a little Recipe sharing. One of my challengers and awesome new coaches shared this recipe with me. She has been raving about it and I just have to try it. I know that the weather is starting to break and soup isn’t always what we want on a Spring day. But soup is a quick easy meal that you can portion out for the week and even put in the freezer when you are in a pinch. I like to pair my soup with a salad and call it a great meal. Lunch or dinner this is going to fill you up and keep you happy!
This Chicken Hash Recipe is Clean Eating, Whole30, and Paleo approved & is the perfect combination of sweet and spicy to add some flavor to your dinnertime routine.
I cannot say that I was beyond excited when Matt said we were having chicken hash tonight. To me that sounds like a bunch of crap thrown in a pan and sautéed up! I am not a fan of sketchy sounding meals. But when you don’t have to cook it you don’t complain! To my surprise the Chicken Hash was delicious and the flavor was incredible. It had the right combination of sweet from the apples and spice from the red pepper flakes.
This is a must have for your Whole30, Paleo, Clean Eating lifestyle. If you are getting bored with the same meals over and over try putting this in rotation. I can’t say that my kids loved it, but my husband and I sure did.
We made chicken Fajitas on Sunday night. We made extra so we would have lunch for Monday as well!
You could easily make in bulk and portion out for the entire week for lunches! If you have non clean eaters in your family give them shells to use instead of lettuce!
I’d put this in rotation, it’s quite awesome! Make sure to let me know what you think!
This recipe makes 4 servings and 2 fajitas each.
This past week I started my journey to completing the Whole30 nutrition plan. I have to share this amazing Pork Tenderloin recipe with you because we can’t stop talking about how good it was. If you didn’t get a chance to read the blog post about it you can see what I’m up to here with the whole30 plan. I am doing the Whole30 plan to kick my sugar cravings, to see if I can improve my chronic fatigue and my skin clarity. Over the summer I allowed myself to relax and enjoy a few too many cocktails and treats. I don’t regret that decision but I do notice that it is taking a toll on my energy level, on my concentration and my skin. I have been curious about the Whole30 plan for quite some time and I know there is never a good time to do it so I am going for it right now.
This is my first week and I have on my meal plan to make a few of the recipes in the book.
We had some pork tenderloin in the freezer so this was our first recipe from the cookbook. The verdict was that it is a huge hit. We enjoyed it and we will rotate that through our meal plan. If you would like to try it I am sharing it here with you.
I think that I could honestly eat this every single day! It’s by far one of my favorite recipes!!! It’s straight from the 21 Day Fix Extreme booklet. Both my husband and I absolutely love this!
It is a green container and a red container and it feels like a hearty filling meal.
It makes 6 servings, approximately 1 1/4 cups each.
We just finished up an amazing family dinner! Seriously everything we have tried from the nutrition guide has been delicious so far! Instead of lettuce wraps for the kids I used whole grain taco shells, gave them low fat cheese and greek yogurt for on their tacos.
I might have found one of the most amazing concoctions ever!! We have been eating clean for 3 years now and there are a few recipes that my husband will openly recommend to others when we discuss clean eating. This one takes the cake for husband recommendations. It also makes killer left overs. So if you are like me and you need to plan for the week, throw this in the crockpot for dinner and have lunch for the next few days as well.
Here is a recipe that I wasn’t so sure that I would like but the ingredients were simple and I was short on time so I gave it a whirl. It actually came from the March Issue of the Oxygen Magazine. It is called Savory Chicken and Sweet Potato hash. The prep and cook time are perfect for days when you are short on time. This recipe serves 2 people but easily served my 2 small children as well.
This week I decided to try something new! I can tell you that my husband does not like it when I tell him we are trying something new! There have been many times that I attempted a clean recipe that we took right to the trash and made scrambled eggs instead. In one of the Tosca Reno cookbooks there is this beautiful stuffed pumpkin recipe that I was dying to try! I decided that around the holiday was a great time! Unfortunately they looked pretty but they tasted awful. Part of that I attribute to the fact that I didn’t cook the pumpkins long enough and they were hard. But we live and we learn right!!
So this week I found a recipe online that I tweaked to make it my own. It was shrimp fajitas. I am a Mexican food lover thru and thru so this made my taste buds twitch just thinking about it! I had everything in the fridge and freezer so it was a no brainer of a meal.
I have to say hands down this was a winner and I actually thought to myself, when can I eat it again!!
This might be the second easiest recipe that I have found that is clean! I am a huge fan of Mexican food and as we all know it is not low in calories and fat! So I am constantly searching out recipes that will satisfy that fix! Here is one I stumbled upon in the Taste of Home Magazine! I made enough for the rest of the week and pre portioned it out in tupperware containers and now I have quick easy meals for the rest of the week! Planning is key to your success!
