My husband is a clean eater right along with me and he must of been scrolling through Facebook and this clean eating cookie dough greek yogurt recipe came up. He was in the kitchen whipping something up and asked me if I wanted to try it! So of course I’m always up for a snack I said yes!!!
Seriously I think I have died and gone to heaven. Don’t let the ingredients fool you because these bad boys really do taste good! I mean not just a little good but amazingly good!! You have to try them!
They are vegan and gluten free but you don’t have to be either of those in order to make these. I classify these as the perfect sweet treat when that craving hits! Or if you are like me, you make them, you serve them and you TELL NO ONE that they are healthy and then wait to see what people say! I bet they love them and then ask for the recipe! Then at that point, I don’t shout omg they are healthy!! I say here you go, hand over the recipe and watch their expression!!! PRICELESS!!!!
I decided to give a dessert recipe a try tonight. Something I have always been intrigued by but never really had the guts to try. Black Bean Brownies. We decided to open a bottle of wine, grill some fish and asparagus and have a nice dinner on the patio tonight. So I decided we needed dessert to go with our dinner! This was the perfect opportunity to give this recipe a try. Honestly I couldn’t believe how truly good they were. My in laws stopped over and they do not like anything that is out of the ordinary. Neither my husband or I told them what was in them and they both liked them!!! So I would say it passed the toughest critics out there. This is totally going into rotation!!!
Gently blend all ingredients together in a medium mixing bowl. Preheat your oven to 400* and spread the mixture in an 8″ x 8″ baking dish and bake for about 10-15 minutes. Once the edges are bubbling and it smells amazing. I like to serve my Bruschetta with a whole grain baguette that I slice down brush with Extra Virgin Olive Oil and bake until lightly browned. You can make your own chips that are healthier than the store bought version.
My husband is a clean eater right along with me and he must of been scrolling through Facebook and this recipe came up. He was in the kitchen whipping something up and asked me if I wanted to try it! So of course I’m always up for a snack I said yes!!! Anything with yogurt, peanut butter and chocolate I am game! It is called clean eating cookie dough yogurt!!! AMAZING!!! Now I would’t put this on the menu for every night as a snack but this is a perfect treat to replace your bowl of ice cream or the blizzard. Let me know when you try it and what you think!!
