A few years ago Matt and I saw this recipe pop up as a sponsored ad on Facebook for a Peppermint Bark Martini.  Of course I didn’t stop and save the recipe and I’m pretty sure it was not very healthy either.  The recipe was full of heavy cream and lots of added sugars.  So Matt and I took it among ourselves to come up with our own healthier alternative minus the heavy cream.  So here is what we made and it has been a favorite in our  house during the holidays for years now!



1 oz Peppermint Bark Pinnacle Vodka

2 oz of Coffee Liqueur

1/2 tsp unsweetened cocoa

1/2 cup almond milk or coconut milk



Pour all ingredients into a shaker cup and shake up the drink.  Pour into  a martini glass and serve.  You could top the rim with some crushed candy canes if you want to give it a more festive look.
