So 2012 was a really big year for me personally, professionally and in my fitness life. I want to take some time to reflect with you, my readers on what has happened to me over the past year. I am doing this not because I want to toot my own horn but more importantly because I want you to know that you can achieve anything that you put your mind to as long as you work hard. You can absolutely set goals for yourself but until you actually do the action steps each day they are just goals. They are just words written on a piece of paper that you tuck away and forget about. Just like the majority of us make New Years Resolutions and then we forget about them within the first few weeks of the year.
So last January I was a brand spanking new Beachbody Coach. I was just launching my business and I was setting goals for myself. I did what all my upline coaches told me to do. I made a dream board. I actually got together with 2 of my fellow friends and coaches and we set some goals for ourselves.
Here is my goal board- Some of the things I wanted to accomplish were to:
- Finally have defined abs.
- Win the Team Beachbody Success Club promotion.
- Own our first single family home.
- Have 200 + people at our April Super Saturday Event.
- Hit Success Club 12 out of 12 months of the year.
- Be 2 Star Diamond by June 2012.
- Attend the leadership conference in the fall of 2012.
- Change 50 peoples lives with my challenge groups.
- Make $5,000 in one month.
- Go to Summit 2012.
It’s funny because now I look back at these goals and what I have accomplished over the past year and it’s so much bigger than I ever imagined. I not only have completed P90X2, Chalean Extreme, Les Mills Pump, and Turbofire this year but I have ran the Pittsburgh Relay too! I am in the best shape of my ENTIRE LIFE!!!
I have helped way more than 50 people through my Beachbody Challenge and this year alone I am aiming for 500 people!! So the flipside is that I haven’t accomplished everything on my dream board. There are actually quite a few things that I didn’t accomplish. At the time that the goals passed and weren’t met I was down in the dumps. But I didn’t let that stop me from still reaching for the stars and believing in myself.
What I did accomplish is this:
I hit Success club 12 out of 12 months of the year. Not Success Club 5 but Success Club 10. Therefore I earned the Success Club trip for myself and family to Disney World in March of this year plus an additional $1,000 to spend while we are there.

I didn’t hit 2 star by Summit of last year but I became 2 star by November of this year and I hit ELITE!!! So what does that mean? It means that I rank in the top 1% of the company. There are less than 100 coaches in the entire organization that hit elite! So out of the 1000,0000 coaches in the organization I ranked among the top!! That is a pretty huge accomplishment for myself. Not only did I grow my income to triple what it was when I started, but now I qualify for the Coach Quarterly bonus plus the $500 car allowance per month.
As an Elite coach I get the insider scoop on when new products, promotions and incentives will be coming out! I can direct and lead my team more effectively and guide them to be successful as well. As a Coach I have a fabulous team of leaders! I would of never imagined 1 year ago that I would have some of the most talented, kind, caring, driven and motivated women that I have now on my team. They are passionate about their own health and fitness and also helping others to do the same. Because they have a strong vision for what they want their life to look like we are able to come up with a game plan and help them achieve their own goals. How exciting it has been to see these ladies grow into amazing leaders as well as coaches.
I also moved into our very first single family home this November!!! We finally were able to comfortably move and have flexible spending to decorate our new place. We desperately needed more space and with the extra income we were able to do so!
Welcome to our new house! |
I did get to attend Summit this year in Las Vegas and it completely changed my life. Not only did it open my eyes to the potential of the business but it opened my husbands eyes to what it means to be a supportive business owner! Together we have grown in strength and in our relationship. Together we are a healthier, fitter and happier family! I love watching him talk to other people and share our experience and how Beachbody has changed our lives and our health. He now drinks Shakeology and although he doesn’t work out regularly he is very smart about what he eats!

I truly feel that this last year has been a huge blessing. I have 2 beautiful and wonderful boys. They are the light of my life! They are just growing by leaps and bounds. Bryce will be 2 next week and he is just a little chatter box! He loves playing with his cars and trucks, especially his choo-choo’s! His favorite show is Little Einsteins and he can’t wait to watch it each day! Landon is sooo into Power Rangers it’s not even funny! He is always samorizing something!!! Yes some days I want to rip my hair out but everyday I thank my lucky stars that I am home with them! I can go to Landon’s field trips, I can take him to and from school, I can snuggle on the couch in the morning and watch cartoons, I can be there when they fall and need a kiss! I am a part of their lives, but at the same time I have this amazing sense of fulfillment from what I can do through Beachbody. Yeah the money is nice and I love having the income. But I honestly love seeing other people succeed! I love watching my team grow and I will do whatever it takes to help them achieve their goals.
I truly feel like my year has been way more than I could of ever imagined and for that I am beyond thankful!

I am going to continue to dream big this year! I made up my 2013 goal board. I wrote down my vision and where I want to go! I know that God has a plan for me and it is going to blow my mind! I plan on working hard, enjoying life, stopping to smell the fresh air, and continuing on my clean eating and healthy living lifestyle. I was reading an article last night that really put it into perspective. I am no different that you but what I did do was the things that brought me the most success! I focused on being productive, efficient, authentic and organized! Here are some great tips to help you think like those that are successful!!!
- I am starting the 21 Day ultimate Reset starting on Saturday!!
- I will be an Elite Coach in 2013.
- I will help 7 of my coaches get to Diamond.
- I will help 2 of my coaches become Star Diamond.
- I will attend Leadership in the fall.
- I will make my teams growth and professional development my top priority so that they can have success as well. It’s not about re-inventing the wheel. It’s about duplication of what works!
- I will put God first in my life and make it a priority to attend church each week.
- I will grow myself through 1 new personal development book a month.
- I will be 7 Star Diamond by December 2013.
When you take a look back on the things that happened, you'll realize that most of them are good things. And I'm glad that it's what you're seeing. I'm inspired to know that you were able to move into a new home that you love through working hard. It is true that nothing is impossible if you strive for it. Keep up the good work!

You had a great 2012, right? I agree with Calvin that you've collected good things from the previous year. Since 2013 is about to come to a close, I do hope you achieved your goals for this year. Anyway, I might be a year late, but I would like to congratulate you on the new house. It feels like heaven when you don't have to comply to the landlord's standards when it comes to redecorating. How's your house now? Hope you posted something about the redesigning projects. 🙂
