Well I have officially completed day 1 of the Ultimate Reset. It wasn’t as bad as I thought it would be but I also started the Reset on a day when I was already super busy with Super Saturday. That is our quarterly Beachbody Meeting in which the Pittsburgh Team hosted Celebrity Trainer and Les Mills Combat Master Trainer, Joel Freeman. I can say that the workout was fantastic and the energy was amazing!! Unfortunately, I was not supposed to workout, but shhhh I did anyways!
During the Reset you are supposed to be letting your body heal and restore. It is important to take the time to focus on you health and nutrition instead of your energy going to repairing your muscles. The good thing is that it was only day 1, so I was just starting. From here on out, no exercise! I can honestly say that is going to be very very hard for me to do!! But I promise to follow the rules!
So here’s the low down on day 1!
Here are the supplements I have to take each day for week 1!

Woke up at 5 am, my usual time to get some work done. I held off on breakfast until 7am. So I took my first supplements at 7:00 am. Mineralize, Oxegenize, & Optimize. Then waited 30 minutes before breakfast. Breakfast was 2 slices whole grain toast, 2 scrambled eggs and a generous portion of steamed kale or spinach.

I got home about 3 pm and was absolutely exhausted. I drank a huge glass of water and sat down to spend some time with the kids. Everyone hopped on the couch to watch cartoons so I took advantage of it and laid down as well! I took the alkalinize supplement right before laying down. It was green and nasty tasting! But if you hold your nose and close your eyes it’s not that bad!!!

Now the hard part for me begins!! The evening. This is where I have always struggled. I am a late night snacker through and through. So I got out the decaf, herbal tea (Strawberry Pomegranate) and had a warm cup of tea. That helped to keep me satisfied for a few but my tummy was rumbling. So I got out the apple and 1 tbsp all natural pb and had my snack. I figured that since I didn’t eat it in the afternoon I could have it now. It may or may not of been the right thing to do but I was hungry! I actually went to bed before 11 pm and woke up today well rested!! I did have a small headache from the caffeine withdrawal but overall not a bad day!!!
