Good Morning!!! Happy FRIDAY! I’ve been working hard this past week preparing to leave for our trip to Paris for the Elite 10 Adventure. I am so excited to be traveling with the other top coaches along with the CEO and Co Founder’s and their spouses! Its going to be an amazing week in Paris and Normandy! So even though I am in shape, I live a healthy lifestyle there is always room for improvement RIGHT!! I mean even the most health conscious people can slide into a few more treats during the week! So this past week I buttoned up, stripped it down and cleaned out the extra treats I was having and now I feel great!
I wanted to share with you my thoughts and my plan so that the next time you go on vacation, have a wedding, event or party you can use some of these things to help you look and feel your best!
So I didn’t just start the week before planning. I started a month ago with the 21 Day Fix Extreme to prep for this trip. I decided that each workout I wasn’t going to just go through the motions but I was going to step it up. I upped my weights from 15lbs to 20lbs on legs, I challenged myself with my arms and my cardio I really paid attention to how hard I pushed during each interval. I can see a difference in my strength and my endurance just over the past few weeks.
Secondly, my nutrition. I decided that I was going to follow the Countdown to Competition plan which is very similar to the “EAT CLEAN STRIPPED” By Tosca Reno plan that I was doing previously. So I would do 2 days of normal fix eating and 1 day Countdown to Competition eating. The only difference is that you cut out fruits, you limit to 1 carb and its way more protein and good fats with no cheats! It DOES REALLY LEAN You OUT FAST!!! Plus you are not starving at all. Maybe a little foggy at first bc of the change in nutrients but that doesn’t last more than 2 days. Lots of water helps too!
I keep my carb to before dinner time. So either steel cut oats with breakfast or a sweet potato for am snack or lunch. I make my last meal 3 hours before bedtime and if I’m really hungry I have a 2nd Shakeology for an evening snack or Shakeology chocolate has truly been my saving grace!
This past week I was countdown to competition 2 days on and 1 day regular Fix Eating.
No cheat meals at all, lots of water and focus on my workouts! And bam, all my bloating has gone away and I feel more confident than anything! Most people definitely lose weight from this but I’m not focused on weight loss as much as I am leanness and bloating gone!
