Learn About melanie
Hey friend! Welcome to my corner of the internet — I’m truly honored you’re here.
I’m Melanie — wife to Matt, mom to Landon and Bryce (now teens — how did that happen?!), business mentor, podcast host, and advocate for anti-inflammatory living and clean, non-toxic wellness. I’m deeply passionate about helping women rise in leadership, create scalable income, and build businesses that are aligned with their values.
But let’s rewind to where it all began…
I have a Master’s in Special Education and, before starting our family, worked as a Director of Early Intervention. When I left that career to become a stay-at-home mom, I imagined I’d feel totally fulfilled. But about six months in, I felt like I had lost a piece of myself. I missed contributing, creating, and being connected to something outside the four walls of my home.
So, I did what any millennial mom in 2011 might do — I posted on Facebook about trying to lose the baby weight. That one post led me to an online accountability group, and eventually into the world of community marketing.
That one “yes” changed everything.
I launched a blog, built an online community, and grew one of the top sales teams in the company. Over the next decade, I became a top coach, keynote speaker, and one of the highest-earning women in the company — all from the corner of my kitchen, during nap times and in between school drop-offs.
I discovered my love for leadership, systems, and duplicatable strategies — and it turns out, mentoring women to step into their power is my true calling.
For years, my work centered around fitness and nutrition. But 4 years ago, my health took a turn. I was hit with adrenal fatigue, gut imbalances, and major hormonal shifts. It forced me to reevaluate everything. That healing journey is what led me to anti-inflammatory living and my current mission to help other high-performing women protect their energy, reset their bodies, and feel good again.
So, when BODi pivoted to an affiliate model, I knew I needed to find a company that aligned with my belief in community, mentorship, and long-term sustainability. That’s when I found Shaklee — a clean, clinically proven wellness and beauty brand with a rich legacy and a forward-thinking vision.
What stood out most?
-A product line rooted in science
-Values I could stand behind
-A compensation model that rewards leaders who mentor and support
-A culture focused on integrity, collaboration, and impact
Now, I lead one of the fastest-growing teams in Shaklee, and I’ve never felt more aligned. I get to bring my full self — wellness mentor, business coach, systems strategist, and motivator — into the work I do every single day.
If you’re looking to:
– Build a business that supports your life (not runs it)
– Heal from burnout or hormonal chaos
– Grow your confidence, leadership, and income
– Be mentored by someone who gets it and walks the walk
You’re in the right place.
And yes, you can do it all — with a plan, the right people, and a mentor who’s here to guide you.
Let’s grow something beautiful together.
Sincerely,
Melanie
