Do you start each day by scrolling 📱 through social media, getting caught up on everyone's stories, checking your emails, and scanning your DMs?

Do you start your workday by prioritizing what everyone else needs from you? 📝

Do you let the dings 🛎️ and beeps of your devices break your focus when writing content, sending that email, or doing that follow-up?

Let me ask you an honest question?

Are you avoiding the WORK because...

🛎️It makes you feel uncomfortable?

🛎️You are afraid you might fail publicly?

🛎️You are afraid someone might judge you for the business you promote?

🛎️You are bad at managing your priorities?

HONESTLY, if you don't learn to manage the stories you tell yourself and your distractions you are going to continue to circle the mountain of your goals and resent the fact that you aren't where you want to be right now!

Here are three things you can do right now to separate yourself from your distractions and crush your goals.

1️⃣ Turn off the notifications on your phone and computer for Facebook, Instagram, and email.

2️⃣ Put your phone on do not disturb when you are in your work zone. That way you can answer messages after your focused time is done.

3️⃣ Always start your day with the top 3 tasks that will get you closer to your goals. Do those first, eat that frog so that no matter what the rest of the day brings- you did what you needed to do first.

I am not a “let’s wait around and see what happens” kind of girl!

Anyone can talk a good game, but what holds the most credibility in my eyes is the action that you take following your words.

I wanted to grow a successful network marketing business 11 years ago and I had 0 Instagram followers, 75 Facebook friends, and barely anyone who wanted to join me.

Instead of throwing myself a pity party, I looked for ways to to meet new people, start new conversations, and grow an online audience of people who wanted to improve their lives.

I started a blog, posted 3-4 times a day on social, went to networking events in the community, made new friends, and invited people to join me.

I didn’t wait for people to come to me, I went out and found people to connect with.

If someone told me NO, it wasn’t the end of the world. I just connected with more like-minded women.

Everyday was a learning experience and an opportunity to learn through my actions!

I wanted so badly to change the trajectory of our families finances that I was willing to get uncomfortable and do the work!

What is it in your life that you want so badly that you can’t stop thinking about?

Are you willing to…

☀️Risk failure so that you can eventually achieve greatness?

When I first started my business, I was riddled with mom guilt.
I was always feeling conflicted because I wanted to achieve my goals but I was distracted when it was family time by thoughts of what I was going to post next or who I needed to follow up with. SOUND FAMILIAR? 🤦🏼‍♀️

I didn’t have a schedule for my business & I was just trying to wing it all! I was feeling like a failure in all areas of my life.

Then I was introduced to time blocking by a mentor 🤯 and everything changed!

I started blocking my time, being intentional about when and where I worked, & intentional about not working when it was family time!

It was amazing and the best part is that I was achieving all of my goals and then some!

Now I teach my time blocking, prioritizing, and managing distractions to my customers & I am pumped to bring you the summer edition!!

@katywritescontent and I are teaching a 2-part class starting this Wednesday May 24th to help you get clear on both your summer biz goals & your summer priorities.

I would have thought you were full of shit😳 5 years ago if you told me I could get to my goals faster if I learned how to prioritize my rest & find a hobby.

I literally didn’t see how I could achieve my goals if I wasn’t running 24/7.

That thinking led me straight to burnout and business resentment that took me a year to get back!

It wasn’t until changed my perspective & started to change the way that I did things that everything changed. My business exploded, opportunities flooded my inbox, and life was good.

Here is what I did:

📍 I was hyper focused during my business hours so that I could be hyper focused on my family at night.

📍I only said yes to actions that brought me closest to my business goals and honored my priorities.

📍I ticked some people off bc I was no longer letting everyone else’s agenda dictate my actions.

📍I took up hobbies like golf & gardening to give myself a creative outlet that was just for ME!

📍I stopped feeling guilty for setting boundaries & started teaching the women I mentor to do the same things.

This is an important part of your business journey! You can’t try to make everyone else happy or you will end up being super unhappy yourself.

It’s Sunday & I am outside gardening & soaking up the sunshine. I’ve been Mia for the past 24 hours bc it’s my biz and heck- I can do what I want & so can you!!

Stop living life by someone else’s rules and start living for YOURS!! 🙌🏻🙌🏻

Why does it feel so hard to find rockstars to run the business alongside of you? 🧐

Yesterday, in my leadership mastermind session we had this question come up. The timing could not have been any better because in my inbox was an email from @ericworre about this exact topic.

As I shared the statistics from the email, I also shared my own personal experience with building a top team.

If you only bring in 1-2 people on occasion the time it takes to enroll those rockstars could be spread out over years!

😮 When you put team building in perspective it makes you realize you haven't been talking to enough people to get those rockstars. Maybe you haven't been talking to ANYONE and expecting THEM to COME TO YOU!

The one thing I love about direct sales is that you and I can control our outcome based on our efforts!

We can refine our messaging around the type of team member we want to work with.

We can increase the number of relationships we are building.

We can create a solid customer service strategy to develop raving long term customers.

We can develop a solid onboarding strategy so that every person coming into the doors of our business is set up for success.

We can literally invite more people.

You and I hold the power to finding more of what we want! Now it's just a matter of taking action!
