One thing people ask me about ALL the time is “What are you reading?” Everyone loves to know what my top personal development books are!! I used to just tell people the title of the book I was reading at the moment, but the more I thought about it, the more I realized that I needed to make an updated list of my favorites to share with everyone.
Personal development is an individual thing and everyone is going to have their own favorite. Just because I like one book and you don’t, that’s totally okay!! You should take a look at your life, at who you are, what areas you are struggling in, what obstacles you are facing, and then pick something to read or listen to based off of that.
I’ve read a lot of books that have served a certain purpose at a certain time in my life. They might not all be directly relatable to where I am now, but at one point they were helpful so I am going to share them with you.
One other thing – it’s okay if you are a few chapters into a book and you realize that it isn’t serving you well. Just put it aside until it can serve the purpose that it’s meant to serve. Don’t feel like you need to be reading the book that every other person is reading if it’s not applicable to where you are in your life!!
If you prefer listening, there are tons of personal development podcasts as well as YouTube videos or books that you can listen to on Audible!!
